These motors can operate to 7200 RPM and are ideal for use as shaper motors, Moulder motors, blower motors, conveyor motors, packaging motors, and Tenoner motors applications requiring special shaft extensions and higher speeds. The design allows a considerable amount of horsepower in a compact motor. Motors can be mounted vertically. If required, we can supply motors with an oversized bearing at the tool end, or a precision duplex angular contact bearing for higher load capability.

BASIC CONCEPTS
The first electric motor control systems were based on the use of direct current motors with electronic drives consisting of thyristor bridge rectifiers, where commutation was achieved by the use of commutators and brushes. This technology is still used at the present time, as new vector-controlled technologies with asynchronous motors are replacing only low power equipment, while for power ratings above 50 kW the combined direct current motor + speed control unit solution continues to have enormous advantages regarding costs, with perfect motor operation and control.
