• So far the table has been running great.  Our motor has no problem running the table at 3600 rpm and it is smooth.  Just out of curiosity what kind of glue is holding the lexan guard together?  I have had a lot of people asking me that.  Also we are thinking of upgrading our existing table, the one with the wood router motor.  I’ll be getting back to you in a couple of weeks on that one.  The pilot fit was perfect, there was no need for adjustment.  It’s a good feeling when you can bolt the motor on and know that it is lined up.

• Good afternoon.   I would like for you to quote some FEMIC motors and some other items please.  If you recall,  last fall your company made some hubs and rings for a particular application of ours.  You also made a special shaft motor for them to fit on.  I am needing to have you quote a duplicate of that order.  The original quote is dated 8-13-2004.  It consisted of 4 H80SB2SE motors (2 rh thread and 2 lh thread). Motor option 1.  There were also 4 notcher head hubs, and 4 notcher head rings.  I also need a price for  2- SMC73C with 5/8" FEMIC collet  router motors .  The items in the original order seem to be working very well and we are wanting to use the same components if possible.

• The SM-C98 motors are running great.  Everybody loves them.

• The motors run much cooler than the "X Brand".  You can't even touch the "X Brand".

• The SM-C93 is successfully installed and running beautifully as of yesterday afternoon. Operators said they even think that the smooth running of this motor is responsible for a nicer finish on the parts produced last night.

• We purchased a motor pack 3 and it's worked out pretty good.  How much for a motor pack 1 w 1/8 and 1/4 collets?  Is it in stock?

• The motor is a work of art.  It is running just fine and we are awaiting the mounting block to come back from fabrication so we can put it onto the robot.

  I have a C98 spindle from Ekstrom that has been cutting phenolic material since 2004 without a problem. Due to design factors, we have to plunge cut this material 88 times per 4 x 8 sheet. The original Perske spindle only lasted 4 months. HSD makes good spindles too. But Ekstrom does warranty work and spindle rebuilds themselves. Saves dealing with ShopBot if there is a problem.

  • The assembly complete comes in around a pount or so lighter then my PC router was. What a HUGE difference in cutting tool temps as well. The PC router bearings and motor sure put a LOT of heat into the tool. This alone is going to make plastic cutting SO much better..
